I have had my mouse for over a week...?

And it is still crazy wheh I try to get her out of the cage. She bites, jumps, and "flys" just so I don't get her. The people at the pet store said wait 3 days, is there any effective ways that I can show her I mean no harm and to let her get used to me?

How large is her cage? Make sure her cage is large enough so that she doesn't feel too threatened when you merely put your hand in at the opposite end.

Also, she needs a female friend. Female mice are very social and shouldn't be kept alone.

everytime you want to get her out try the following things:

wear a glove or put something over your hand and keep a tight yet gentle grip of it and talk to it

give it a treat everytime you get it out or say hello

try stroking and talking to her everytime you walk by.

1.Try bringing a treat every day

2.Place a treat on the floor andsit behind it CAREFULLY take the mouse out place it on the floor and let it come to you

Do either one 1-2x a day untill it is used to you

Make shure all doors and possible escapeplacesareclosed and make sure there isn't much places for her to hide also  no cats,dogs,ect.......

Try placing y our hand in the cage (but not trying to catch her) so that she gets used to your smell, maybe try to hand feed her a little bit, it basically just takes a lot of patience x
