I have had the same recurring dream every few months since I was a young child...

Question

I am standing in the middle of a quiet, empty parking lot, and slowly, the parking lot gets cluttered up with cars, dumpsters, garbage, etc. I wake up as the mess closes in on me and begins to cover me completely. I've been having this dream for 25 years, I am almost 30. Anyone have any opinions on what it means?

That's an interesting question!

I don't know about when you were little, but it seems now that you feel impotent when dealing with the garbage that comes into your ears that you can't let go of.  Some stuff you just need to let go--criticisms from others, self recriminations, etc.

that is what is happening to the world right now. first it is quiet and empty. then building and pollution and cars and stuff like that then one day the world is just gonna get too cluttered

this is going to sound crazy but try this

next time u have this dream put your two hands in front of you

and blast away the mess

remember you can controll your dreams

as soon as you know your dreaming too is try to read something

and try to remember what it was you read

and write it down

u would be surprised how dreams can help you out
