The first happened on top of my thigh, it went about 9 inches up and was aout 4 inches wide. It was a lighter color than the rest of my skin. It was only numb on top of the skin. That went away in about a day.

About 5 days ago I had some small numb patches come up on my feet. They were raised, and in different shapes. This caused me to have an anxiety attack. They only last about 3 hours. Yesterday 3 numb spots came up on my face and again only lasted a few hours.

I have a doctors appointment in 3 weeks, but wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this or had some suggestions? My anxiety has been out of control because of it.

Thanks!

  1. what is happening is being caused by your anxiety disorder I had this and once I was placed on medication I haven't had any problems since call your Dr's office and tell them your anxiety is getting out of control and you need to be seen under a emergency situation they should be able to see you much sooner I know how you feel it's not fun in the mean time try some breathing exercises if you need someone to talk with I'm here just send me a messages

  2. I had something similar after my baby. Its a pinched nerve. I get some relief with massage therapy. I am not a doctor and your cause could be different.

  3. What the h**l!!! What's going on with your body. You need to go and see a doctor immediate.

  4. Just read an article in a fashion magazine about how auto-immune diseases are striking young women at an alarming rate, usually starting out with numbness, and taking years to diagnose.  It is way more common than breast cancer, and caused by environmental toxins and stress.  Make sure your doctor doesn't give you the run-around about what is happening to you.  Try to eat just whole foods with no chemicals, and avoid all stress.  Good luck.

  5. Fibromyalgia would be my guess...
