My hair has gotten to the point that it pretty much gets in the way of everything- it's always get caught in things and stuck. I love it, but when I'm running, it's really uncomfortable when it starts coming out and the long pony tail collecting sweat on my back. I've tried a bun, but that's even more annoying b/c it eventually comes ( my hair is also thick and heavy) out and then I have to fix my hair while I'm running! Any suggestions? (and no, I'm not interested in cutting it :0))

  1. My very-long-haired friends do one or two braids (native american style, not french braids!)and then wrap them up.  Braids stay stuck on your head better than loose buns if you use enough pins!

You could also just part in the middle and put braids or pony tails on boths sides.  When you're done running, your hair will look great when you unravel the braids. (the heat will set it)  I only have shoulder length hair, but I'm planning on this hairdo for the summer. :)  Bandanas and braids are another option, if you don't mind looking like a hippy. (I don't mind)

  2. French braid
