  1. dont get pink eye

  2. If your symptoms are mild, there is no need to see a doctor at this point. Sterile saline eye wash is helpful, along with warm, moist compresses- do not use soap. If it worsens, you need to see a doctor for antibiotic eye drops. You can read more about pinkeye here

    http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions...

This site also lists things you can do- the most important thing is for you to wash your hands, and avoid touching your eye, especially touching one, and then the other.

  3. go to the pharmacy, there is an antibacterial eyedrop called 'Optrex' (or something similar) that should help, it only costs like £5 (10$) more or less!

  4. u should go on the web and search for clinics and facilities in ur area that offer care at a reduced rate, or that charge u based on ur income... there are even pharmacies that charge u at a reduced rate if u have no insurance...

but i would go to the pharmacy and ask them what u should use...

  5. Here we go again....

"Pink eye" in a healthy adult is almost ALWAYS viral.  Antibiotic drops WILL NOT DO ANYTHING, despite the fact that GPs and nurses insist on handing them out like candy.  Antibiotics are for bacteria, not viruses.

  6. i am sure there is stuff you can buy over the counter at a pharmacy. eye drops.

  7. a home remedy is a cotton ball soaked in black coffe and rub your eye with it.

  8. You can get eye drops at the pharmacy without a prescription (depending on where you live). Alternatively, get some sterile saline solution (used for cleaning contact lenses) and cotton pads. Soak the cotton pad with the saline solution and wipe your eye ONCE from the inside to the outside and then throw out the cotton pad. Repeat with the other eye, using a new cotton pad. Wash your hands before and after. Resist wiping or touching your eyes at all. But try to get the eye drops. They will work faster. And don't try to make your own saline solution at home.
