  1. It's true, you spray it and then walk through the mist.

But it will clog your pores and cause breakouts!!! So use a primer instead. Lots of brands have them.

  2. There was a question exactly like this a few minutes before yours.

Using hairspray on your face isn't a good idea even though it holds things in place. Using a primer is much better and designed to keep makeup on longer. For foundation you may not need to use a primer, but just apply moisturizer before applying it. You can also use a setting powder lightly over your makeup like the bare minerals mineral veil or you can also find some at everydayminerals.com. There are other setting powders, but I prefer mineral makeup because I have very sensitive skin. I have found that I don't even need setting powder when I use everyday minerals in semi-matte.

For eye makeup, there are several ways to prime your eye area. The first way is just applying your foundation around the entire eye area. You can do this with a triangular makeup sponge if you use liquid foundation or using a concealer brush if you use loose powder foundation. This works well for me. When you need something more heavy duty, try using urban decay primer potion. It's available at urbandecay.com, ulta, sephora, and any other urban decay vendor. It REALLY makes the makeup stick so I don't normally use it day to day.

For lips, use lip liner. I don't like having to match lip liner to every lipstick I own so I just always use Revlon Colorstay Clear lip liner. First line the outside of your lips and then fill them in completely. I then rub my finger over my lips to try to more evenly distribute it. Then apply your lipstick.

  3. I've heard that too. I have never tired it. I have always assume it would make your face sticky and uncomfortable. I would be afraid of getting the hairspray in my eyes. Try using a primer rather than some hairspray.

  4. DON'T DO IT!!!

  5. OHMYGOSH!  Don't even consider it!  I'm a Clinique rep and I can promise you that even if it makes your makeup stick, it will do terrible things to your skin. Talk about clogging pores!  If you are oily or have a problem with makeup lasting, you may need to try a different formula of foundation or even a primer.

Here's an old beauty trick:  If you are oily and want your makeup to stay put, buy a small bottle of Milk of Magnesia (for upset stomachs) and after cleansing dab it on your face with cotton balls. A little goes a long way.  The ingredients are all natural, and they let the pores breathe. It acts more like a light clay mask to absorb oil, and no one ever knows it's there.  I tiny bottle will last a long time.  I use this on models before outdoor runway shows in the summer. Keeps everyone shine free and makeup stays put.

  6. Dont do that! its dangerous also it blocks your pores really bad!

    Dont even try it. x

  7. well, i definetly wouldn't suggest doing this.

You'll probably breakout..or you could get it in your eyes & mouth.

    Gross..hahah.

There are powders that set your make up to make it last longer.

im pretty sure CoverGirl makes them,

    & JANE makeup does too.

    use that instead of hairspray

  8. it wouldnt help because it is for hair!

and do not do it, it could be dangerous and very bad for your skin.

to get make up lasts longer you can just buy a foundation that says it lasts longer. avon are very goood for long lasting foundation.

  9. No, don't do it!

  10. Nooo don't try it! Please!

Use MAC Fix + instead! x

  11. Probably but it also gives you spots as the skin pores become blocked...... yuk

  12. Don't do that. I might work, but it makes your make up look horrible. And it blocks pores which can lead to spots. Don't even try it!!!

  13. Do NOT do that! If you spray hairspray on you face it can cause irritation to the eyes, block your pours, dry out your skin, irritate your skin and cause you face to be sticky and rough.

  14. No. Don't do that.

  15. yes if you like spots.

  16. noooooooooooooooo its not true dotn do it you will ruin ur face but i would advise talking to ur hair make up specialtist or dermatologist

  17. There is a spray that professionals use to set model's makeup.  Sally Henson makes one.  DO NOT USE regular hairspray.  SOooooo bad for your pores.
