I have heard about teasing your hair can someone explain to me what that means?

i wanna know what teasing your hair means and what does it do i saw a video on youtube about a girl doing a pouf with bangs and she said she was teasing her hair to make a pouf ?????????????

with teasing, you just take the root of your hair, with a fine toothed comb and go back and forth on it. and then you take a bigger brush and smooth it on your hair.,

but, if you don't know how to do it, then it will probably look weird and frizzy.

plus i wouldn't suggest teasing, as it breaks your hair. its not good at all, and you'll have alllllllooottttt more flyaways.

step 1: take a strand of hair in one hand and with the other hand grab and drag the hair in the other direction in order to frizz and make it 'pouf'
