  1. pulling your groin is easly done along with many other muscles that are commonly pulled. With excessive pressure put on a muscle it is more likely that you will pull it.  And it is also true that you can bruise internal organs for instance I had a girl i ran cross country with bruise her lungs and she now has trouble with it.

  2. you will be fine

  3. you are just thinking about this more then you need to. as long as the distance doesnt seem eccesive to you it should be fine. if you always run 4-5 miles a day and havent done any damage to yourself you probably arent going to  later on running 4-5 miles a day. exesive running is like a person who has never run before  and starts out with 10 miles. the pain you are talking about wouldent seem relavent to you in any way if you hadent read about this. your just thinking about this too much. the pain you are explaining might be just because you needed to go to the bathroom or a mucle spasm. dont worry about it you will be fine doing what you are now. the less you know the less you worry about this kind of stuff. hope this helps.

  4. How do you define "excessive"? 10 miles a week, 50 miles a week?  If you jog often, you're going to get little niggles. Deal with it.
