  1. Yes. Too true. I have written to Yahoo! asking them to do as much of this change-over as they can FOR us so we don't get messed up by it. Can you imagine someone over fifty trying to figure out how to migrate the entire contents of the 360° item? It boggles the mind. And you don't have to be old to be intimidated by it. Time will tell if Yahoo! has been listening at all. Do you suppose the switch-over is being fueled by the profit motive? Just possibly? Perhaps? Just maybe? Take good care, davey babes! Sent with steady care from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A.

  2. I hope not!

  3. Sure enough, l heard it also. And it is true.  Boo-Hoo

l am going to miss it.

but our new social net work will be here soon. Not sure how soon but it will be coming just the same and l do hope soon.

This is Yahoo 360 Team Blog

And you can see and read  it

This transition is causing some major bugs and yahoo is not fixing the bugs because all their resources are going into the transition of the new network.

  4. Yes, Yahoo 360 is being wound down although you won't get Yahoo to admit to it -  people have tried to get answers on 360's future but they been greeted with a stony silence..

Yahoo are doing sweet nothing with 360 and any problems you've got with your page - well, you are stuck with them. Me, my links haven't updated for over a month. I abandoned 360 for Multiply.

Anyway many former 360 people have gone elsewhere -Facebook, My Space, Multiply, etc. On Multiply there is a '360 Refugees Group' where people can discuss what is happening with Yahoo.

I understand 360 will eventually be superseded by Mash, which is in Beta mode at present. You can actually join Mash if you can find a Mash member to invite you.

  5. Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. It likely will not be called 360 anymore, so yes, it's closing in a sense. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space. However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about those.

  6. I've no time left answering questions, as such no use of 360.. It's better we do not try to enter other people's private life.

  7. i've heard that too mate.
