I have heard that EEE has double syllabus and hence double pressure. Is it true??

No!! that's not true absolutely.I know many  people who has done and doing EEE.They never really complaint or said that there is double syllabus.

When I took EE, it was 204 units, and the typical degree was 170 units, so it is more but not double.

EEE doesn't have a double syllabus but it has several areas of study so you can focus your studies. You wont need to take much more classes than typical students but the pressure sure feels like double. I had friends who studied liberal arts, they had no worries or pressure.

The pressure and coursework is not a problem if you like EEE studies but if you don't like it and feel you would be a better fit elsewhere then you should not stay. If you like the studies but feel like it may be too much, stay strong and stick with it. It will pay off in the end.
