I have to take several medications. to lower cholesterol. And I should also take plavix. Which I can not afford the Plavix at $175.00 a month. I don't have a heart doctor, because I moved from one county to another. My wonder is if there is another medication that can be prescribed that may work the same as Plavix that I can get for a cheaper price like my other meds. that I get now at Walmart for $4.00?

  2. Heart disease is not due to a deficiency of drugs.  Heart disease is caused by processed foods and is a "modern man's" disease.  The first case of cardio myfarction (sudden heart attack) was in 1921 in America.  Since that time, it has grown to compete with cancer for the number one killer disease in America and now, thanks to the drug companies clever solution, statin drugs, STROKE is number 3.

Cholesterol is NOT the problem.  Inflammation is the problem.  Since the blood is made of water, it does not mix with oil, so the body has cholesterol that is an alcohol, not a fat, that attaches to fatty acids to transport the fatty acids to areas of inflammation to repair the body's tissues.  Yes, taking cholesterol lowering drugs does reduce the build up in the arteries, but at a dire cost to the body.  Since our brain is mostly made of cholesterol, bile is made of cholesterol, and since the body repairs it's self using cholesterol, to limit it is to leave the body very vulnerable to things like thin arterial walls making the person very susceptible to STROKE!  When the cholesterol levels go up, it is due to an increase in inflammation in the body.  85% of all cholesterol is made in the liver by the body and only 15% is from diet, typically.  If your diet becomes deficient in cholesterol, your body simply makes more to compensate and if you eat too much cholesterol, your body makes less to compensate.  But, if your levels increase or decrease it is due to more or less inflammation.

Statin drugs are dangerous and do a lot of damage to the body's normal functions.  One very important function of the liver is to produce vitamin Q that nourishes heart tissue.  Lipitor and other statins stop this production of this very important vitamin.  Since the inflammation is not fixed and only cholesterol production in the liver is reduced from these drugs, the arteries are still infected.  This infection reduces the body's minerals and instead of up regulating the cellular energy of each cell in the body, the minerals are used up by the infection leaving the body to be more susceptible to disease and sickness.

Foods, like Vegetable Oils, that are being recommended by people who have NO clue about nutrition are causing a lot of inflammation in the body.  Low fat diets are very destructive because our bodies need fat and are designed for high fat diets.  Eating the wrong kinds of fats and oils and low fat is a basic prescription for heart disease!  Low salt diets are just as destructive.  Eating "Morton Table Salt" is NOT good due to all the chemicals and processing it goes through to make it poisonous to your body.  But, to not eat good salt is a very bad idea.  Good "Air Dried Sea Salt" is good for you and a necessary nutrient you need every day.  This is where the body gets it's CL- ion to make stomach acid that SANITIZES your stomach and digests your food.  The nanobacteria that causes inflammation in your arteries found in cooked foods, is killed by stomach acid.  You should be drinking lots of water each day and taking about 1/4 tsp. of air dried sea salt for each quart of water you drink each day.

If you change your diet and get on a program of health, you won't need those drugs and you will extend your life, instead of shortening your life by taking that garbage.  It takes a little work to eat good organic food that you prepare each day, but it doesn't cost more.  I strongly suggest you read the book, "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon and Mary G. Enig, Ph.D. and gain some very basic understanding of good foods to eat.  This book is also a cook book that will help you learn to prepare good foods that will nourish your body.  Heart disease is a result of bad diet, not a drug deficiency.

One other area of concern is the teeth.  The molars located next to the wisdom teeth have a direct pathway to your heart and arteries around your heart.  ANY infection in these teeth can generate many heart problems.  If you have amalgam (silver) fillings in these teeth, you have raging infections going on there that the body cannot fight with it's immune system.  If you have root canals in any of those teeth, you have cavitations of the jaw bone (NICO) where infections are raging.  Any extractions, especially wisdom teeth, you have NICO under those.  These infections deplete your body of it's minerals, especially calcium, magnesium, etc.  If this is the case, you need to have the amalgams removed and the root canals redone correctly by a biological dentist.  Typical dentistry in America promotes diseases in a big way.  All the way from the materials used to the procedures being used.

    good luck to you

  3. You can try using food to help you. In particular, the American Heart Association commends fish high in Omega-3 fatty acids (salmon, sardines, tuna) for their ability to control heart disease risk factors.
