I have home videos that i want to put on my ipod.

Question

I have already converted them and they are ready to be put on my ipod but i am kind of a neat freak about stuff like that would it be possible to put them on as podcasts if so how?

I have tried to get movies that I already own onto my Ipod. After I did some reasearch, I found out that it is illegal to put these movies onto your ipod and if you were willing to take the chance you would need special equipment and software. Hope this helped!

the one above my answer is a complete idiot. it's not illegal. you own the movie. and what's in the dvd. if the u only bought the dvd not what is in it, then what make it value? so the movie is your. but cannot copy it or in other word, make profit of it, but u can do whatever u want with it, unless u're making profit. ok for ur movie

is it in MP4 Format?

Does ur iPod play Video ( Obvious u should know )

next add the file to ipod like regular

then walla there's ur new movie

iPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:
