  1. Find a good allergist and inquire about "rapid desensitization therapy."  My son received this treatment and it has been wonderful! We had literally exhausted all other treatment possibilities. The drawback is that you will receive a lot of shots. Don't worry though the needles are very, very small. Initially, the doctor will do an allergy panel to identify your allergies, then according to the results he will mix vials with your allergens in 1/100 to 1/1000th strengths. (Not entirely sure on the strengths but they are varied.)  Then you will receive a series of shots ranging from 1/100 to 1/1000 strength until your immune system has adapted to the repeated allergen exposure and no longer mounts an allergic response.

  2. If you havnt done an allergy test, that would probably be a good thing to do. It will tell you what your allergic to and how allergic you are to it.

I tried allergy shots for a while and they made me feel a little better, maybe you should talk to your doctor about them and see what he thinks. Basically they give you a very small dose of something your allergic to and increase the dose overtime so you become less sensitive to it.

As for pills, if the over the counter stuff doesnt work, you should get something thats by prescription and see if one of those workout. But from what I hear, benadryl is one of the strongest and if you have tried that and it didnt work, just talk to your doctor. Also have you tried zyrtec? It became over the counter a month or two ago

  3. Have you tried eating wasabi? Its this Japanese Horseradish that is REALLY good on clearing up sinusis. It unstuffs your nose and clears headaches cux of allergies.
