Last september my mom let me buy a green iguana from the pet store(it was approximately about 8 months old). I took care of it and played with it for several hours a day. On december 7th 2007 3 months after geting him poor Draco passed due to sickness. my mom said i could get a new one when i was ready. 3 weeks later i wanted a new one and she said no they get to big. then she tried to convince me to buy a $200 gecko but i said id rather have a $20 iguana. even today i still feel upset and bothered by this. will some one help me try to convince her to buy me a new one.

  1. First off, I would tell your mom that most geckos are very difficult to care for, and tend to have a life span of around 15 years or so.

A healthy iguana may get fairly large, but is much hardier, easy to care for, and DOESN"T COST $200.00!
