I have illionis license, and i live at kansas city, Missouri.?

Question

i want to change my license to KCMO. how do i do it? and will i have to go through the whole driving test if i just give them my license number?

its my first license and i dont want to give it up!

JUST GET A COPY OF YOUR LICENCE & TAKE IT TO THE DMV IN KCMO FILE FOR A  CHANGE OF ADDRESS  WITH YOUR  NEW KC ADDRESS  THEY WILL WANT YOU TO TURN IN YOU IL LICENCE BUT CAN LOOK YOU UP WITH THE COPY YOU PROVIDE JUST TELL THEM YOU MISPLACED IT  YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE EYE EXAM  & PAY FOR YOUR NEW LICENCE  18.00  THAT’S IT
