......... there are the limits and classifications of the airspace. For Germany (airspace C/D/E/G), there is written the following:

Lower - RNAV - Upper

GND - FL95 - FL245

So, the lower airspace begins at GND, the upper begins at FL245, but what is meant by RNAV-FL95? Area navigation from FL95?

  1. The airspace is declared as RNAV above FL95. RNAV equipment is required for IFR flights above FL95.
