I have insect problems. Will someone please help me? :(?

Question

There are these small flying beetle- like incects all around my house. They fly into my face and in my hair and I think They have been biting my dad. I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of them but they always come back. They're at full force during the summer. If someone could look for info about them that would be a lot of help. I live in the north west, and if it helps, the bugs are about the length of my thumb nail and its reddish -brown under their wings.

I've considered building a bat house to encourage a colony of bats to live at the end of my property.  They are great natural sources for insect control.

hmm...sounds a lot like the problem we had here in the east last summer.....I called'em the "morphed" lady bugs...the little booogers could bite and hurt like c**p for a bug that small!...sad to say, not much bothered them, just had to kill'em as they came close enough to kill.And when smashed, gave off a gross smell ta boot! For the one's landing on the flowers,shrubs etc. "Seven" did'em in, but that's about all we could do.

You can go to bugspray.com on the Internet and order Air Devil spray and other bug sprays that will kill most all kinds of insects. There is a phone number for them also that you can call for info as how too identify  the insects and what will work best and how to apply  the pesticides. I have ordered and used their product with great success when applied as instructed.
