  1. The biggest problem would be finding the property. I'm sure you don't want to buy one sight-unseen. So, you would have to either have a representative out here that you completely trust or spend a lot of time out here looking at properties. Then there's the issue of property managment (you couldn't manage it yourself, obvously), which will cost you a percentage of the rent each month (usually 7 to 8%).

    It's a great market out here right now, though. If you have the means to invest out here, I would recommend it.
