  1. we have the same brand. i've been skating in them for about 4 yrs now and they're still in good condition. i suppose i'm a pretty good owner. i skate once a week and i think they seem ok. some of my friends have jackson-mirage too, and they skate several times a week (around 3+). but the jackson-mirage combo seem to be doing fine.

but i still think the best brands are sp-teri and reidell. you could also try harlick. these are for boots. for blades, try professional or mk (esp goldstar). kinda empties one's pocket though! :)

    have fun, fellow jackson!

  2. I have been with Jackson boots since my 2nd pair and i think that they are great! I would ask your coach if they are good. They would have more input than anyone here. I personally am working on my double loop and i have Jackson's (i don't know what kind of boot) with Cornation Ace Parabolic blades and i have had them since i have been working on my double salchow. They work great! I would wait till either your skates are too small or till your boots look to broken down.

Again i would ask your coach before you make any decisions.

  3. I've never had Jacksons so I'm not quite sure. BUT. Unless the boot is bothering you in any way, I suggest keeping them. I only change my skates when they get too small. Even if it's "not good enough", it'll give you a lot of help since you're comfy in them. You should ask your coach but most coaches don't like their skaters getting new skates when they're current ones are perfectly fine. You should just wait a couple months to another year or so.

  4. You should consider moving to a better boot and blade combination.  The Riedell 320 or 355 with a Professional blade would be a great skate for the skills you are working on.

  5. im 13 and am at around your level. i wud say that your blades are fine but you shud move up to jackson competitor boots

  6. try moving up to a 200-250 boot and 75 dollar blade or up

and try to get the 1s that mold to ur foot jackson is the best

  7. i have jackson boots and the same blade and i am doing the same jumps as you and they are great.
