I have jury duty but i already served it?

i want to send in the excuse but the jury sevice is due on tuesday what do i do due i still mail it or do i have to serve it

You have to serve. Just because you have served already, you can still be picked to serve again. After serving, you name is put back in the jury pool, you could be called upon to serve a third and even forth time. Just suck it up and get it over with.

You will have to serve it because of the short notice.  I have a feeling that the jury pool is getting smaller and smaller and people are having to perform the honorable civic duty more often than they want.

Well these things are state administered so its possible it could be different where you are but I have never seen anything that says you can only be called to jury duty once.

I have been called and served five times in Massachusetts.

depending on the state where you live, usually they will dismiss you if you served less than one year previous.  Call them on Monday to ask
