I have jury duty in two weeks. How long is the wait time before I get called?

Will I be out of the courthouse by 4pm? And what should I bring along to pass the time?

Bring a book, crosswords.  Check to see if knitting, crocheting or other needlework is allowed.  Some courts allow, some don't.   If you're not called for a particular day, you could leave as early as 10 am or as late as 6 pm.  A lot depends on the docket.

Take book or crossword.  Yes.. you should be out by  4:00, but one time I was still there at 6:00.

Completely depends on the courthouse.  Expect to be there all day and never move or there five minutes and let go.
