I have just become a member of yahoo answers and it said that i have points what are points?

Points are what you get when you ANSWER questions and what you lose when you ASK questions

Points are not really good for anything expect going to the next level.  You do not win any prizes, vacations, etc…  You just get a lot of good info.

Answering questions=2pts

Best answer=10pts

Visiting YQA each day=1pt

Choosing your own Best answer=3pts

Voting on undecided question =1pt

For each thumbs up on BA = 1 pt up to 50 pts.
