I have just bought a 1990 sunbird boat. it had been sitting for 7 years what do i need to do to it?

I have put in a new water pump. rebuilt the fuelpump,and the directional valve. got out all of the old gas cleaned the carbs ckeck the floats,replaced the fuel bulb and lines. greased the foot,when i pput the ears on it to run it it will only run if it is on fast idle. this is a 93 modle 115 hp. outboard. will the water presser affect the normal idle? Should i try to put it in the water or is ther more i may need to do ?

Did you replace the fuel filter?  I guess you did since you said 'lines'.

Water pressure will not affect the idle.  Have you put it in gear? (be safe when you do this)

You should take the boat to a garbage yard and set it on fire.
