  1. it should say on the transom.

  2. Depends what you want to do with the boat, a RIB (Rigid Inflatable) does not fold when too much power is used and so the speed you wish to proceed at comes in. However a 28 horse power engine would be sufficient for most people and would give about 10 knots.

  3. The Force 3 takes a maximum engine size of 15hp and 225kgs of weight. I had one until a month ago when someone drove their boat into it and holed the hull against a pontoon! On a flat calm day with just myself on board, I got it up to 23 knots and with a heavy mate behind, it did about 18 knots. It helps to get the weight forwards as they sit stern heavy a bit and they're quite scary flat out! I custom made some seats that you can lean back against which is very useful as you feel like you're gonna go head over heals backwards, such is the acceleration! If you want, I can email you a picture of the plate that comes on some Flatacrafts that shows what size each vessel is rated to for engines. If you want to know anything else about these cool little boats, just ask me.

  4. There should be a manufacturers plate on the hull, giving all the specific details, including the maximum HP outboard you can put on it.  Normally the plate is around the transom area.
