I have just bought a xbox 360 premium and I am having trouble connecting the HD AV cable on my HD TV...?

It only seems to work if I connect it following the instructions for a standard TV, when following the instructions for HD TV I get no picture or sound. Why doesn't it work, surely if i have a HD TV I should get the benefits of a higher definition resolution such as 1080i which my TV supports. Any ideas what's wrong...

  1. plug in the red green and blue cables into the red green and blue port, look to see wut input setting it is and hit that button on teh remote (example, mine is set into input #2 so i go to video 2 on the TV) also you plug in the red and white cables into the standard red,yellow,white jack that is ALSO!!! on video 2 otherwise you will have no sound but a picture....i hope this helps
