I have fitted a new floor in my toilet, the floor has raised by approx 10-12mm now the the waste outlet at the back of the toilet doesn't line up with the sewer pipe. What can I do to resolve this problem? Is there anything I can buy??

  1. If its' not so visible, scribe and notch the floor carefully. Usually you have to pull the crapper to put the floor in but your obviously a foreigner, God knows what kind of toilet you have, so I would notch. Apply a little caulk, discreetly, around the perimeter of the cut and wipe with a wet paper towel.

  2. yes , just go to B+Q and ask them, i love laminate florrs they are so easy to keep clean and hygienic too, i have them everywhere in my place.

  3. buy an offset multiquick from any plumbing shop It allows an adjustment of 0 to 25mm by turning it 180 degrees.

  4. Go to your local builders merchant and aquire a multi quick pan connection. There should be enough flex to adapt to your needs, if not then you will have to lift the floor and cut round the pan.

  5. Should have thought about that before you started!

  6. you can get flexible pipe to join em together.

  7. so why didnt you cut around the toilet pan?

  8. why not cut around the base of the toilet and put the toilet back in it's original place?

Otherwise, there are some bendy pipes you can fit.

  9. Go into a plumbers merchant or your local diy shop and ask for an offset pan connector.   That will solve your problem!  They are no more expensive than normal pan connectors (around £3 or £4).

    :)
