I have moved a few times since 1986 as I was a licensee and wonder how I can chase this up if at all

  1. You did not know you had it and therefore would not need it. If this is the case take it to the T.S.B bank and have it transferred to a higher interest account. then [forget] it again for a while and let it make money for you. This will compensate a little for the inflationary loss you suffered.

  2. Go into your local TSB branch and show them it, it has probably gone over to a dormant account but the money will still be there, ask the staff how you go about withdrawing it.

  3. You will have to get an envelope from the TSB, send the book with a sae to have the interest added and ask for the account to be closed.  They will send you a cheque.

  4. go into any tsb and hand them over the book the money should still be there

  5. The money will still be in their dormant account files - plus 20 years interest so it will be rather more than that now. You will get paid.
