are you talking about security wise? security wise mcafee is ok. bc its firewall, anti-virus, anti-spy... the problem is, that is not that safe. if your not experienced keep it this way if you are unistall it and get individual firewall protection , anti-virus, anti-spy. now if you do this dont enable all of them the same time. if your pc's is very fast you can do it, if not try to have the firewall always on and run the other two once a day/week/ month.. you choose. all of these multi-protection systems are using a lot of memory so dont get upset if later your laptop acts slow.
