I have just got my tongue pierced and i was wondering ....?

i was wondering ... as i have braces, will the orthadontist still be able to change my brace or will he ask me to take it out, WHICH I WONT DO!

let me know please :)

and don't comment saying 'whyyy have you got it piercred?!' as it's simple why, i wanted it done =D

I had my tounge pierced when I had braces. My dentist had the hardest time with it...he use to tell me it was chipping the enamel off my teeth (i took it out). But, it wont be in the way for your orthodontist so if he asks you to take it out, ask him if you have to? It only takes 30 minutes or less to change your braces...it wont close up that quick if you have to take it out. Good luck!

I have my tongue pierced also..yes they will have you take it out...and if you do and its been less than a month ur tongue will rip...I know from expierence...had my tongue ring 2 weeksand had to pull it for surgery...I had no choice....but it ripped.. Right after surgery I put it back in..

But best bet is to cancel ur appt if you refuse to take it before a month..

Ooh incase you don't know...beer will cause a yeast infectionin ur mouth if you drink it so if ur old enough clear alcohols only... and rinsing too much with that nasty listerine can make ur tongue all scally and green...

Its good to rinse with alt water(warm)

love tongue piercings but the dentists hate them, they really do. i wouldnt be surprised if he asked u to take it out but there is a chance he wont
