I have just had a baby, and I need to keep earning what should I do?

I dont really want to go back ful time as I will miss my baby boy, although going back part time will only cover baby sittin fees!! I need some good ideas on how to keep earning but have time wih my baby.

u can go back to work and get ur child care mostly paid for by the tax credits aslong as u work over 16 hours and pay a registered child carer

Try and do something at home.  There are a lot of online jobs you can do, there are jobs that you can answer calls at home working around your baby's schedule.

IF you hav a computer try getting a job on the computer then you wont hav to leave your baby alone. But sometimes you need to give your self a little breath of air without your child.

Women do it all the time y'no, my girl is almost 8 now and I feel I have been a better role model for my daughter because I have shown her that women can and will strive to succeed - she also gets the best that I can give her including nice holidays and a nice home and car - we have time together and we are able to plan things as there is extra cash - I would not like to live on benefits with a child....

Go back full time. You can still spend time with baby when you get home from work.

Can you work shift work so you will work when they are asleep at night? Like you could work the 3-11PM shift and then you could come home, sleep and spend the bulk of the day with them.

Sorry but as a full time working mother I know it can be done, and having a child doesn't mean you don't have to work.
