I have just installed a Ripspeed CMR-1000 into my car, but the prests disappear when I turn off the engine?

u didnt connect the yellow wire? yellow  keeps the memory presets time etc red has power whit the  ignition yellow always have power even went the car is off

yea, common mistake, everyone thinks red is power but yellow is the main power, red is just a remote turn on.

i dont think you need to switch them for an 06, the wireing harness plugs into all the right wires and the wires coming out of it are always the same, unless the person who installed it didnt use an aftermarket wireing harness, then you may have to switch them.
