  1. just get a small car, cuz it saves lots of gas, and easier to park.

  2. Ford Ka sound about right, it not too big a engine and insurance is cheaper and you geet to practice on it for a while while your no claim is going up and your getting older, there by getting your insurance lower year by year then you can go for a bugatti later if you wan to but i think the insurance on that one will still be too high. so, smaller engine at the earlier stage and then to big engines after experience. Good luck.

  3. Hi, yes. A Ford Ka would be a good first car, or possibly a Fiesta. On the whole though, look for one with low mileage and that has been properly looked after. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!! :-)

  4. Right here.. look how pretty!!!

  6. i would get a small car to start, 1200cc

  7. a friend a work has a ford ka as a second car, don't know anyone who had one as a first car, however my cousin swore by her fiat punto as a first car an my sister loved her Renault Clio!

  8. Yes its good its low on Petrol - 1.1 or there abouts, as long as you feel safe in a car it should be a good first car

  9. Depends how much you have to spend, a lot of Ford Ka's are bought by young drivers & driven hard & poorly maintained, most 8 to 10 year olds will either need or will have had extensive work, you will need to have someone who knows about cars take a very thorough look.

As a rule, Japanese cars are the best for build quality & reliability - Something like a Honda Civic or Suzuki Swift are great little cars, they also tend to have been better looked after than the more popular Ford or Vauxhall cars.

The small French cars are also poular with young drivers, ie Citroen Saxo, Renault Clio, these are really nice cars too, and well liked by youngsters.

Vauxhall Corsas are also popular, better built than Fords, but again, check carefully for 'boy racer' type abuse.

In general, Fiat Puntos look the part, but suffer horrendous reliability problems & even young ones can end up costing a fortune.

Work out a budget & drive a few different cars to find one you really like.

  10. Volkswagen polo

  11. If you want a ford you would have to bye one of the new kind because  the old ones are not in good shape they rust pretty fast! and new ones are expensive!

For your first car it would be good to not by a realy expensive one and not a big one! It's better to buy a used one for your first car and latter buy a better one but I would say BMW class 3 or if you want a comfortible car tou should by a mitsubishi those cars ar good and even used ones are usualy in good shape because the japanies invented them! they know whats a good car! hope this helped you! take care bye!

  12. yamaha r1

  13. Whatever you choose, buy a car within your financial means. Pre-owned is fine, as long as it's mechanically sound and has a fair body condition. If a car meets those criteria, and it feels like I've driven it forever the first time I get in; then it becomes my car.

My first car was a 1971 Chevy Malibu. I gave less than $1,000 for it. It lasted me for several years. My second car was a 1981 Mercury Zepher-station wagan. Liked it so well that when the time came to look for my fourth car, I looked for another wagan. 1984 Chevy Cavalier; four cylander. The best little car I've had to date. I actually cried on the way to the "car recycling center" aka: junk yard. I've never sold a car to someone else; I drive 'em 'til they drop. My current car is a 1987 Buick Skyhawk Limited.

I can't stress to you enough: Whatever your choice, do not think you need a brand new car. Do not go deep in debt buying a car.  Insurance for a four-door is not as high as for a sports car. And these days, you really do need to think economical as well. You only have one first car. Make it special to you, even if it's not the most beautiful looking thing on the road.
