I have just received a new passport in lieu of a lost one. It doesnt have an visa. Can I still travel to India

I have finished with my work in UK and will be going back to India now for good. Can I travel back without a visa on my new passport and re-apply for a new visa if ever I want to come to UK.

    with the visa in it?

    yes you will be able to reaply if you got out of the UK on time and not overstay..........
