I have just received my new mobile!... but need help?

Question

I have just received my new nokia N95, i want to copy my cd's on to it. I have a cd rom start up pack and a USB cable.

To copy they cd's do i need access to the internet or can i do it via my computer alone?? (i have a laptop but no access to the internet) thanks alot (in advance) xx :-)

Connect the phone to your laptop via the USB cable and chose data transfer. Install the driver software (this is automatic but slow). Open the folder containing your phone files. Open the folder containing the Songs you want to put on your phone. Highlight them all and copy them into the right folder on the phone. And you're done!

u wont need internet unless the software need an update or anything.

and if u do need the internet go to the library or local internet cafe.

hey ,

          there is no need of internet when transferring files to your mobile.Just plug-in the data cable attached to your mobile on the other side and install the driver which would be present in the cd. immedi you would find new USB devices under my MyComputer .

you can simply copy and paste onto the new drive which would be your phone memory..

You can by putting your USB into the Laptop. After that, put your CD in. Then open the CD files and click send to your phone card. you have to put a memory card in the n95 first

1) Install PC Suite from the CD that came with the phone.

2) Connect the phone using the USB cable

3) Use the Music Manager feature of the PC Suite to manage your music collection, compress it and copy it to the PC

I have to admit that I have not used the tool for CD ripping but somehow I believe that the feature is available. If no you'll have to look for some additional software.

I don't think not having access to the internet is much of a problem. The only thing you couldn't do is get access to the album database that reconises the album with track listings. But you can manually input this info.
