I have just refilled my printer cartridge for CanoniP1700 and the colours are all muted and faded.?

I did the alignment and cleaned and deep cleaned but it didn't help. I used a refill kit..the black one works great. Has any one else had this problem and if so what did you do? I'm in the middle of doing a baby scrapbook and I need to print in colour. Thanks!!

I used a refill kit once in my life and swore never again. It didn't work correct. I did the steps correctly. The colors didn't print like a new one.  It was messy and didn't work.

I have filled my color ink cartridge many times and it worked great

You can forget about your cartridge and toss it as the colors are mixed.

You messed up when you filled it. But it was not your fault. The colors on the labels do not match up with the ink wells. This is done intentionally by the companies so you can't refill your cartridges.

Next time, before you try to fill up a ink well, stick the syringe needle in to see what color it is.
