What can you say about the kind of hatemongers that would attack a memorial to the dead?

I wasn't surprised to see that the Berlin monument to g*y holocaust victims had been vandalized.

Just surprised that it took so long.

Berlin's memorial to the thousands of homosexuals persecuted and killed by the n***s was damaged over the weekend, less than three months after its unveiling.

A viewing window in the concrete monument through which a video of two men kissing can be seen was smashed in the attack.

There were more than 50,000 convictions of homosexuals in the n**i era, and authorities in some cases ordered men to be castrated.

  1. well all i can say is i sincerely hope that ALL of the holocaust victims souls are at rest and peacefull!!! :(

  2. It was a terrible thing to do.

  3. I read that story too. It's terrible! Hate seems to be able to transcend time.

  4. wow i didn't think there wre 50,000 homosexual worldwide back in those days... that's a lot

  5. I just read the story and I was horrified to learn about what they did to that memorial. I am glad to hear that they have made at least some type of progress to at least put one up, but maybe they were just not ready to have it yet. Thank you for sharing this story.

  6. I though it was sad how homosexuals were killed in the n**i era because of their sexuality.

It only goes to show that there were some real b******s back then and that there are some real b******s today.

I hope that there's some sort of memorial for those people. God bless those souls that are hopefully resting in heaven.

  7. I actually went to visit Auschwitz this year and was deeply moved and saddened to see and feel for myself a very slight degree of the h**l homosexuals - and other "groups" - must have suffered during the n**i era.

I'm sure these disgusting vandals would have thought twice about vandalising the monument if they truly knew the torture these poor people went through.

It's shameful. One day I hope they look back on what they have done and feel thoroughly disgusted and ashamed of themselves.

  8. I have not seen the memorial, but from what you describe it seems utterly provocative to have a viewing window showing a video of kissing homosexuals. Is there a similar memorial for the thousands and thousands of Jews killed by the n**i's? No of course not!

I am a L*****n myself and wonder why it could not have been a video showing two homosexuals doing a bit of gardening,  doing some shopping, just normal everyday chores. We do that too, you know.
