I have just started a job as a healthcare assistant in the theatre department of a private hospital

, however i haven't come from a medical background so am starting from scratch. I'm wondering if there are any books i could read to help me on my way?

  1. Sorry if this is a bit off-topic but my mum is a HCA for the NHS and gets paid peanuts. I keep telling her to work for a private hospital and she will get alot more money and I think she will enjoy it more.

    She has been a HCA for about 3 years and been working for the NHS for about 5. She won't listen to me though... !! :(

    She works so hard too and gets paid rubbish!
