  1. In the US employers can pull credit reports but must have permission from the employee.

    Usually that permission is included in the papers you sign when you apply for the job or at the time you start the job.

    The credit card will be based on the companies credit rating.

    I&#039;m surprised your company hasn&#039;t performed a credit check on you though.

  3. Did the company ask you to co-sign the card?   Are they using your SS# against the card.

    If they ask you to do that then you are responsible.  I have seen it done before.

    Ask them what your liability is with the card and if your SS# was used.

    Other wise you are fine, unless they have contracted you to be responsible for purchase until they approve them.....this means you make a company purchase and they decide against approve the expense then they deduct from your payroll.
