I have just turned 15 and I'm only 5"2?

My dad is 6"1 and my mum is 5"10..

I sleep for about 11 hours most days but i don't eat much food.

I just don't like most of the foods i eat so i stick to chicken chips and potatoes for most meals and toast / cereal in the mornings. I eat a lot of sweets and crisps in between meals, i am not skinny or fat.

Will i grow to a fair size with this lifestyle? If not how can i increase my chances of growing, i really don't want to be like 5"8 or less by the time I am fully grown.

I don't eat fruit or veg but i drink 3 glasses of pure orange juice a day.

I also drink a lot of milk

  1. What you eat, drink, how often you sleep and what sports you play, do NOT affect your growth in height.

    Drinking milk doesn't make your bones grow either, it is good for your bones and improves bone density, but won't make you grow.

    Your height is determined by your DNA, in your genes. You have another 7yrs of growing to do so don't worry.


  2. You still have some growing to do, but alot depends on family genes.  You should try to drink V8 fusion as it will get you some of the fruits and vegetables you need and it doesn't taste bad.

  4. i gurantee you'll be more than 5'10 i mean its like highly impossible for a guy to be shorter than his mom have your ever seen this happen??

    do the add 11 inches from when puberty started

    like if you grew 4 inches when from 4'10 then you will be 5'9 as a final

    there is a pattern which goes like this 4 3 2 1 and 1

    those numbers are how an avg person grows yearly for 4 years and the other 1 takes like 5 years it'll be slow
