Question:

I have just upgraded to Bt Broadband option 2 wireless up to 8 mb download. My computer is not wifi enabled.?

So i bought a 54 Mbps wifi USB adapter. it worked for a minute and now it won't work.When i right click on the wifi connection symbol and click on view available wireless networks i get a message saying"windows cannot configure this wireless connection". How can i get this to work again? Thanks for you reply

  1. Uninstall the program that came with the adapter. don't uninstall the driver, just the program. When the program is running it controls the wireless and not windows. You can also close it and windows will control your wireless. If you have XP then you might have this problem: You connect to a network but it displays" not connected" The only option you have is to disconnect. go to the page with the network adapters and refresh it. Done.

  3. i have bt broadband option 2,  my pc is not wireless i have used the Ethernet cable that came with it , pluged one end into pc other into phone filter modem,  no probs with it
