I am 21 years old and I do not have a drivers license. I did my learners permit when I was about 17-18. My learners permit has not expired. I live in the state of florida. I went to go make an appointment to get my license thinking I would have to take an actual on the road driving test, but the option I saw was " Passed Learners Permit test and need to present documents and obtain license" ... The only documents it specified were my social security card, learners permit license, and birth certificate.... Has anyone does this? Do I have to take the road test? Do I have to take a written test? Am I missing any documentation they did not mention?

  3. yes you have o take the road test, the consent form there talking about is parental consent to get your license but your 21 so you don;t need that, but you definitely can't get your license without a road test

  4. yup u shud im goin in 2 months ^^

  5. It sounds confusing, but here is what I think they mean.

Before they gave you your learners permit, you had to take a written test.  You passed, and they gave you your permit.  Now, in order for you to get your license, you have to present the proper documents first.  Then, to obtain the license, you have to take a behind the wheel test.

It's a very poorly worded statement.  Welcome to the world of the BMV.
