I have less than a week to do this!!!!!!

Question

Okay, I've been practicing for weeks now and i want to make an officer position on my dance team....but here is the problem...they are trying something new this year and are making all of the officer candidates write a speech....(a small one under a minute) we have to talk about why we want to be an officer, how we can motivate our team, and how we can help our team to be successful.....then the whole team votes and scores us for our dedication, personality, and leadership....please! i am not good at speaking in from of people and dont have many ideas....please help....

well in your speech make sure to assure everyone that you will work your hardest and make sure everyone else is doing the same. also say that you will never give up on the team and that you will try and bring some new and exciting things to the team(you can probably think of some stuff). also practice your speech on your own so that when your actually making it you can make eye contact and look up alot cause that makes you look more sure of your self. remember to smile and try and act as if you want to give the speech even though you said your not good at speakign in front of people.(neither am i so if it makes you feel better your not alone lol) just assure then that they will have fun and there experience on the team will be worth while. im sure you will do fine in your speech and GOOD LUCK!
