I have license from gujarat but now i m staying in mumbai, is it possible to transfer?

everyone else has assumed it is the Driver's license even thought you haven't mentioned so!

If it really is drivers license then its valid all over the country no need to worry about it.

Its license for something else.. like a business or something  you need to contact proper state government office for transfer.

The driving licence is All India.If it is valid, you dont need to transfer at all.

- What is the reason to transfer the license?

- You can use the same license in Mumbai without any change. Even you can use it all over INDIA.

- You can not transfer it, becuase there is state change and RTO comes under stane juridiction.

- You can try to get a new license but for that you need to provide address proof and all other requried documents.

Dont worry, no one will fine you for your Gujarat License.

once u have taken a license, it is valid all over india so no need to get transfer
