I have lifted some lino off of concrete floor but back of lino has stuck is ther anything i can do likea spray

i have just lifted some old lino up off of a concrete floor but the back has still stuck to the concrete is ther any thing i can use to lift this up without having to scrape it up like a spray

  1. It will easily scrape off using a wallpaper scraper or similar!!


  2. Nope get a spade/shovel its the only quickest way

  3. Try using a wallpaper scraper and a hairdryer to see if that melts the glue.

  4. put a lot of cuts into it with razor knife then water that will loosen the glue

  5. If i was you i would get some paint stripper ,this might sound silly to say, but think if it lifts rust and paint of anything it will lift the underlay of lino try it you will not be let down. Only thing it gives of bad fumes.

  6. sorry mate just a good scraper will do the job dont be lazy lol good luck

  7. you are going to have to scrape it off.  not an easy job.  must be old lino.  the newer stuff is only glued around the edges.
