  1. i think gold or like a brown would be really pretty. or if you want more color rather than a warm feel...i would go with a green comforter with red pillows to accent.

the walls shouldnt be painted any dark color like red bc then it will make the space less open... and you dont want that in a room.

i think maybe a orange...but only on the wall your bed is.

  2. Gray always works.  It's a safe color.  Calvin Klein makes many Asian inspired bedspreads that are very neutral in color.  Check Macy's. Do this before picking your paint wall color.

  3. A light, neutral earthtone is perfect for the color scene you have already. If the room is not very big, the color shouldn't be too dark. You can decide to have your ceiling wall the same color as your four walls, or you can keep it white or a lighter shade. That will give the impression of a higher ceiling.

Is this room your bedroom? If so, then you will want very calming colors and stay away from reds for your bedroom. However, some people like taking risks to see what is right for them.

Most bedroom layouts are like this: four walls, and the headboard of the bed is against one wall. If you were to lie on the bed, your feet would face the direction of your doorway. If this is how your bedroom is set up, then you can paint the wall (that your headboard is up against) an Asian-inspired tone of red to bring in your red table. The other three walls would be a earth neutral. You would then have one wall as an accent and "wow" factor.

If you are planning on doing the paintjob yourself, then your best friend will be some rolls of blue painter's tape. To perfect the "One red wall, Three neutral walls" plan, you'll need to isolate the single wall that will be red so that your color lines are clean and not overlapping when you take off the tape.

Your bedspread can be a patterned neutral material that picks up the tone of your wall colors. It should be patterned because it seems like your decorating style is not very ornate/romantic, and your wall most likely won't be covered with vintage lace wallpaper. The pattern will give some sort of placement for all of your colors.
