I have light brown eyes, and dark brown hair?

ok, well. i have dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. and my hair, and skin tone(light) makes my eyes stand out very much. espically with mascara. but i usually dont put eye shadow on, because i think it makes my eyes stand out less. but occationally, i would like to wear some eyeshadow, because along with the rest of my face, besides bluch, is blah anbd has no color. but i was wondering, if i do decide to put some eyeshadow on, should it be a lighter eyeshadow, or a darker one? not like black dark, but you know what i mean?

personally, i dont like darker eyeshadows, because to me, they make my eyes stand out less. and lighter shadows, do, kinda. kinda like not having eyeshadow on.

i kinda figure, the darker eyeshadows, bring out the dark in your eyes, making them look darker, but the light brings out all the light in your eyes, making them look lighter. so being that my skin is light, i guess im used to that.

and i hate putting my makeup on and finishing it, and then hate having done, what i did, because its a pain to redo it, and it looks messy. so i was just wondering, what really does make light brown eyes stand out more.. light, or dark shadow?

p.s. sorry, but i am not a fan of purple, cause i know they say for brown, you should use purple. but im not to fond of that color.

Well, with your makeup, you can really do it however you want. For daytime I always wear light, I have light brown eyes.

And just to let you know, the purple eyeshadows you should buy look like a really deep color, but it doesn't look like that on your eyes.

But you can wear a lightish gold or pink, something subtle, or just a light sparkly shade will look nice.
