I have lived in glasgow then left .(really need help)?

I lived in glasgow for 5 years as asylem seeeker when i got leave to remain i decided to leave glasgow and go to leeds. leeds city council gave a me a house, but i realyy dont like the area,people and almost everything,

am about to decide to go back to glasgow but i wanna know if the council will accept me back and maybe give a house?

You'll need to apply, i can't see why they wouldn't give you a house but if you don't apply you will never know! Good Luck

ofcourse they will! i have 5 neighbours 4 polish 1 african and me!!

but you may need to go in a hostel which im just out of i kinda resent people coming here because i was in there for nearly two year and when a immigrant came in they got a house straight away! no more than 2 months!

Thats terrible - giving away houses, this has got to stop.

How can a council afford to give away houses.

What happened to getting a job, saving for a deposit and getting a mortgage?

Put your name down on lots of housing organisations in Glasgow, in that way it'll increase your chance of getting a flat. Why don't you call GHA and speak too a duty key worker and explain your situation. If you think you may be homeless and they think you are in priority need they can offer you emergency accommodation.

You could always try, although the council in Glasgow don't have houses anymore they are all Glasgow Housing Association now. Apply and try and get one before you move though as being classed as homeless they will stick you anywhere.

re apply and usually if you are an incoming worker you will get a house if you have a job to go to and you will then get priority take care
