I have lost 11 1/2lbs in two weeks will this affect my period as its already late?

I have joined slimming world about two weeks ago and have lost 11/ 1/2lbs and my period is late would losing this amount of weight affect my period so soon. I am currently trying for a baby and i didn't want to get my hopes up to soon have been trying for a baby on and off for 10 years.

From what I have heard, I think it definitely could affect your period...I hope it hasn't though.  Congratulations on your weight loss, that's incredible!  Good Luck.
