I have lost my Australian Birth Certificate! :-( I live In Scotland anyone got any suggestions please? ?

I have my extract of birth certificate and everything else, I am not sure who to contact. Can someone help? :-) Thanks

           this happend with my auz citizen documentation , i wrote to western austalia ,and within 2 months had them replaced , so contact the state you was born in , good luck  


  2. You can't do much about the lost birth certificate but you can apply for a new one. What you do is contact the state's Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages and request a new one. I think it will cost about $40 AUD (30 for the birth certificate, 5 for the registered post and another 5 for the overseas/international post). You will need to show idenfication for who you are (make photocopies of your ID and send it in with your application form). No you cannot make an application online.
