  1. Check your policy in detail.... you will have to be able to provide proof of purchase or a valuation certificate. But yes, if you can provide either of those you should be able to claim x

  2. Depending on the policy, and you may get an investigator at the door as well.

  3. Initially you might think yes, where's the problem? But I suspect you have to show that it was either stolen or damaged. So while you might think yes, I would say no.

  4. You can file, but they will probably not pay.  If your fiancee lives with you and is a named insured on the policy, then her property would likely be covered up to the policy limit assuming "lost" jewelry is even covered.  Your policy covers you for your personal items, not hers.

  5. Hello

Provided that you still have all the paper. It should be ok also losing should not be covered. (stolen, destroy yes,...but lost....mmmm)

Before doing anything, I suggest that you get onto 4oD and check this out

There is someone who lost her ring too.

  6. If you have all-risks cover with a sal of £2500 then you will be covered (proof of purchase is available I assume). If the £2500 is a sal in the standard policy then  you won't be as accidental loss is not an insured peril.
